Description

Upper Soda Springs has 28 sites set in a lodgepole pine forest. Few sites are near San Joaquin River where fishing opportunities await the anglers. Lots of hiking trails can also be explored. All of the sites are first come, first serve, and have picnic tables, fire rings, and bear boxes. Vault toilets and tap water can be accessed. It serves as an overflow site for other Forest Service campgrounds nearby, but since the area is popular, it is usually in use as well. The campground opens from mid-June to mid-September. 6 people can stay in a single site. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash. Camping fee is $25 a night.
