We took the road from Emigrant campground. Totally doable with a campervan. Really nice campground with water. Dozen of people during the weekend. Only a few on Monday. Nice stop if you wannabe climb Telescope peak the next day. A few wild donkeys to see when the sun sets (beautiful view on the sunset btw).Mid-sept. : weather and T° perfect
