Description
At an elevation of 4,900 feet, Wolf Creek Campground sits in the Crystal Basin of the Sierra Nevadas - an area known for its granite peaks, alpine lakes and pine forest. Campers can get a sight of an abundance of wildlife, including black bears, mule deer, bobcat, gray fox, bighorn sheep, pikas, martens and a variety of squirrels.
The campsites in this two-loop campground come with picnic tables, campfire rings and bear-proof food storage lockers. Most group sites can accommodate up to five small tents or two medium-sized family tents, and provides access to vault toilets and drinking water.
