Description

Sat in Eldorado National Forest, Woods Lake Campground is a pet-friendly area that offers 25 camping sites for tents, as trailers are not recommended because of the difficulty of getting them in and out of the area. Campers can swim, fish, picnic with eight wheelchair-accessible sites, boat, hike to Mokelumne Wilderness with a permit, or go to the nearby Caples Lake Resort to access their laundromat, boat rentals, fishing licenses, and restaurant.
