Description

Trailhead is located at South Lake Parking Lot. Granite benches needed to be climbed where you can find lakes and ponds. Glacial melt covers some lakes at the highest point. Common destinations you can reach through this trail are Chocolate Lakes Loop, Long Lake, Bishop Lake, Dusy Basin, and John Muir trail. Vault toilet can be found in the trail. Water from creeks, lakes, and springs can be used for drinking, but it is recommended to treat them first.
