Description
This rustic dispersed area is located along Wild and Scenic Kern River. Hiking, fishing, and white water rafting are popular activities here. Right now, camping is not allowed within 350 feet of Kern River. Currently, it is for day-use only. Portable toilets and trash bins are available during summer. There is no water in this area.

No shade.Very basic camp alongside highway so noisy. Best for self contained vehicles

Campfire permit required. Ask ranger or guy at next grocery store located on the left hand side when driving towards Isabella Lake (about 4 to 5 miles).
