Description
Crissy Field East Beach boasts a stunning backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge, and has more than enough space for locals and tourists to come play, fog or shine. See jogging parents with strollers, runners, bootcampers, and cyclists zipping along the Golden Gate Promenade.
This beach is known for being one of the best places to kitesurf in the world due to the thermal winds and storm fronts that roll through the area. Be in awe as kites launch themselves out into the ocean before moving off at lightning speed towards the bridge.
Visitors can also pack up a picnic and settle in for a day of people-watching on thee beach or using the picnic tables nearby.

Definately a great place to leave an RV during the day. (No overnight stays allowed) we set up for the day and was able to hire bikes about 15 min walk away to ride over the bridge. Lots of parking even in the busier times of the day. Dog off leash part of the beach so a great place to let the pups go for a run too. Free parking

Slept last night with 6 other camper there. Police came around 11PM and checked all the license plates. At 3AM police car came with light and horn and told over speaker that everybody has to leave... no fines but...
