Description
El Carmel Point is a small cape in the Mission Bay area that forms San Juan Cove to the north and Santa Barbara Cove to the south. Because of its location, it is a major location for boat launching in the bay.
Home of the Mission Bay Yacht Club, San Diego Rowing Club and much more boating clubs, the beach area is relatively small but there is still sand to sit on while looking out on the water.

Dormir dans la voiture est autorisé. Nous y avons passé plusieurs nuits. Peut être un peu bruyant (cest un parking), mais très proche de la plage, avec toilettes et douche à proximité (gratuits).

Overnight ok for van and sleeping-car. RV and trailers forbidden.Toilets ok

Cold indoor shower in the public restrooms ( end of the carpark/near the rowing centre). Nice peaceful area to have lunch with ample parking. Didn't stay overnight.
