Description
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is famous for its 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees, giving a historical significance and spectacular scenery that captivates tourists from around the world.
Visitors can enjoy many recreational opportunities such as hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, swimming, and camping on the forested and open land, which also provides great wildlife views of banana slugs, black-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, or steelhead trout.
The pet-friendly park's 107 camping sites are nestled in a shady pine and oak forest, and has a separate entrance from the day-use area.

Camping calme. Nous sommes arrivés un dimanche soir sans réservation. Même si le panneau annonce « full campsite », il restait 6 ou 7 emplacements disponible. Douches et toilettes propres. Table et barbecue sur chaque emplacement

It can be full on weekends during the summer. To be safe you need to make a reservation.

Very beautiful setting. Each camp site private as there is so many beautiful trees and foliage. Fire pits, tables and chairs. Clean toilets and showers. Good walking trails. Close to Redwood Grove and lovely town of Felsom
