Description
Lindley Meadow is one of the grandest green spaces in beautiful Golden Gate Park, with grassy areas stretching along the south edge of JFK Drive in the center of the park, and spilling down a steep bank into a wide flat space with picnic tables and grills sat along the eucalyptus border.
There are 12 individual picnic sites up for reservation, and large parties of 100 or more can rent a few nearby tables. Find the restrooms located at the Equestrian Center west of the picnic area. Beer and wine are welcome at Lindley Meadow, however kegs and liquor are prohibited.
Those looking to set up inflatable play structures can do so after securing a permit, but electricity won't be provided.
