Description
Mary Laveroni Community Park was renamed in honor of one of GCSD's first directors, Mary Laveroni. Today, during emergencies, the park is used as a staging and bivouac area for emergency response crews.
Attend several annual events such as the 'Where the Hell is Groveland', Classic Car Show, the Rotary Easter Egg Hunt, Flea Market, Halloween in the Park, and the annual 49er Festival and Chili Cook-Off here at Mary Laveroni. In addition, the park is commonly used by individual members of the community for various special events such as weddings, fundraisers, and concerts.
