Description

Mount Tamalpais State Park rises majestically from the heart of Marin County, just north of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The park features deep canyons and sweeping hillsides that are surrounded by cool redwood forests, oak woodlands, open grasslands, and sturdy chaparral. Take in the show stopping views from Mount Tamalpais' upper mountain, including the Farallon Islands that are 25 miles out to sea, the Marin County hills, and Mount Diablo. Go hiking, picnicking, and wildlife watching, or chat with weekend volunteers at the East Peak Visitor Center who provide information, sell merchandise and snacks.

Basically a parking place in a nice area, nothing special about the campsite.
