Description
This picnic area is located at Bucklin Park, on the west side of the Visitors Center. You can have fun time down there with your family and friends, and enjoy the breeze of the wind. You may also visit the center itself where you can find area road maps that are life saver if you're going to the desert, as mobile signals and GPS reception are inconsistent all throughout the open land.
A lot of murals can also be found in the visitor center which illustrates the history of Twentynine Palms. If you happen to bring an electrical vehicle with you, there is an access to a Charge point EV charger in the parking lot.

You can refill your water tank here. Theres a water tap at the parking and you can park in front of it, connect your hose and fill up your freshwater tank.
