Description
Calaveras Big Trees Visitor Center is a tourist's one-stop place for information about the park and the place to purchase unique items related to Calaveras Big Trees. Talk to the friendly, knowledegable staff, park personnel and volunteers that are here to help, and answer questions about camping, hiking, biking, fishing, special events, and more.
There is also a bookstore operated inside the visitor center by non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Calaveras Big Trees Association. The bookstore has many unique and one of a kind items, including a large selection of books, t-shirts, puzzles, and more. Visitors can also see the wonderful museum with many large and small mammals on display, as well as hands-on items for viewing and educational experience.

Visitor Centre Open 10am - 4pm Daily.Dogs are welcome in the park on leash in developed areas like picnic sites, campgrounds, paved roads and fire roads (dirt). Dogs are not allowed on the designated trails, nor in the woods in general. Max RV Length 30 feet.
