Description

*The Wawona Visitor Center will be closed in 2021. Wawona Visitor Center at Hill's Studio is open every May to October, and houses a Ranger-staffed information desk and exhibits of Thomas Hill's work. The center recreates a 'salon hanging', where paintings cover the wall from floor to ceiling, which are typical of Victorian galleries in the nineteenth century. Visitors can get their wilderness permits year-round at the center.
