Bajada Nature Trail
Point Of Interest
Has not been rated.
Description
One of the nature trails in Joshua Tree National Park with a minimal elevation gain. The path is dirt and gravel, and you can find interpretive signs along the half-mile hike to learn about the area and the flora around.
Anyone can enjoy the trail since it also has ADA accessibility. Bird watching is a good activity here, you might spot a cactus wren, hummingbirds, or gila woodpeckers everywhere. If you're lucky, you might see some turkey vultures, red-tailed hawks, American kestrels and greater roadrunners. Lizards and snakes are around, too.
There are three benches along the trail where you can rest and relax if the hike gets you tired.
