Description
Hold your horses! Cedar Grove Pack Station offers Pack Trips and Day Rides in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
A guided 1 and 2-hour rides are on a first come, first served on a walk-in basis. They make sure that groups only have 5 or less riders to make sure that the ride is more enjoyable. A strict 225-lbs weight limit is being imposed. 8 years old and above can ride, given that children can ride by themselves. Double riding is prohibited. Large cameras, backpacks, and anything extra are not allowed on rides.
1-hour ride costs $60 per person, 2-hour ride is $100, half-day or 4-hour ride is $175, and full day is $225 which takes 6 hours. Half and full-day rides require experienced riders.
Pack trip costs $175 to $275 a day.

Great scenery! Western style horse track next to the river. Quite adventurous! (They don't accept credit card by the way). They also do multi day trips into the backlands of the National Park.
