Description

Visit Clarion Alley and see the beautiful Clarion Alley Mural Project (CAMP), an artists' collective in San Francisco's Mission District. CAMP is an all-volunteer run organization with only a handful of people who are actively working with the project year-round, and supports and produces socially engaged and aesthetically innovative public art, locally and globally as a grassroots artist-run organization. The project is currently co-directed by Megan Wilson and Christopher Statton with a Board of Directors that includes Wilson, Statton, Shaghayegh Cyrous, Keyvan Shovir, Ivy McClelland, Kyoko Sato, Fara Akrami, and Chris Gazaleh. Take part in the mission and take photos at the alley that runs one block between 17th and 18th streets and Mission and Valencia streets. The alley has become a popular destination for tourists and locals with over 200,000 visitors each year.
