Description
Kings Canyon can be viewed in the first few miles of the Copper Creek Trail. It is considered the most challenging route out of Kings Canyon because of its long, continuous climb of over 5,000 feet. But the trail itself is sandy and well-maintained which helps for a faster hike.
Heat can be overwhelming in the morning but in the afternoon, it is usually shaded and cool. Hikers will pass by meadows and beautiful alpine trees. The trail is about 15.7-miles long.
