Description

An oasis in the desert, the spring-fed waters of Darwin Falls flows into a shallow pool surrounded by lush green vegetation. It is tucked away in a canyon without any water flowing at its mouth. It is a year-round waterfalls in the Death Valley National Park providing sustenance to trees, ferns, cattails, and aquatic vegetation. Tree frogs and toads live in this water, while bighorn sheep and other wildlife depend on for survival. Entering the pool is not allowed because it is a drinking source for Panamint Springs Resort.

Beautiful little fall in the middle of the desert thats pretty amazing !! 35 min one way and a bit less on the way back. We saw toads, rabbits and birds...and a snake !!! Enjoy its a beautiful thing to do off the beaten track
