Description
Considered the hottest, driest, and lowest national park, Death Valley is said to be a land of extremes. There is a steady drought and record summer heat area. But the very rare rainstorms give way for wildflowers to bloom, and snow sometimes covered the towering peaks in this park.
Despite its haunting name, you can still have fun and do lots of recreational and nature trips at Death Valley. It has various campsites, sand dunes, scenic spots and hiking trails. The never-ending desert makes you feel how little you are. It has an abundant wildlife and was once a prosperous mining mecca.
Entrance fee to the park is $30 per vehicle, $35 per motorcycle, and if you are traveling on foot or bicycle, fee is $15 per person. Annual pass is also available for $55 good for 12 months.
