Description

A picturesque sand playground that is one of the most popular hikes in the country. Upon reaching the summit, you will be stunned with the bizarre 360-view of the vast desert which doesn't seem to end. While popular, you can still expect seclusion in this over 600-feet of elevation. Hiking in summer is not recommended because temperature can soar up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no shade along the trail, so make sure to keep yourself protected from direct exposure to sun, and bring a lot of water, as well. The hike is 3-miles, round trip and might take 2 to 3 hours to finish.
