Death Valley National Park on Titus Canyon Road, California
Description
This once-flourishing mining town is located about halfway through the drive to Titus Canyon. It was during 1925 when miners started to settle in this copper and lead mining area. But it only briefly boomed with lead deposits becoming scarce, and the chief investor falling to bankruptcy, amid claims of fraud.
Today, you will find ruins of some buildings that once stood there like café, pioneer club, generals store, and the Western Land Mining offices. Some main entrances are open which you can explore at your own risk.
