Description

Lembert Dome is a granite dome rock formation in Yosemite National Park, which can be hiked starting at Tioga Road in the heart of Tuolumne Meadows. Named after Jean Baptiste Lembert, who took up a homestead in a section of Tuolumne Meadows in 1865, the dome is near Puppy Dome and Dog Dome. The trail climbs through the forest to the bare rock of the dome, and there is no trail on the rock. Hikers can follow the easiest path for panoramic views of Tuolumne Meadows and the surrounding peaks.

Nice view from the dome, probably not the best view of Yosemite but at least it's not crowded and you can enjoy silence upstairs. 2h round trip.
