The Main Post Lawn is where the Presidio began, and it's where locals and tourists should want to start their park adventure. This is the so-called 'heart of the Presidio,' and the center of the visitor experience. Find cultural attractions and events such as the Korean War Memorial, restaurants and cafes including Café RX and Walt Disney Family Museum and Café, art installations by Andy Goldsworthy, some archaeology sites, Inn at the Presidio, and a green outdoor gathering space for picnics, festivals, and informal play.

Presidio Picnic takes place here every Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Lots of delicious food trucks/stalls, people take their own picnic blankets, tents and dogs!
