Description

Mavericks is a popular surfing location in northern California near Pillar Point Harbor. During the winter, it has become the go-to destination for some of the world's best big wave surfers. From 1999 to 2016, an invitation-only contest called the Titans of Mavericks was held at the area, whenever the winter wave conditions were deemed to be suitable to meet the needs of the contest.
