Description
Within the field of cinder cones a Mojave Desert, you will find a short trail to a tube that was a formed a long time ago by molten lava. There is a metal ladder cemented in place so it will be easy for the guests to have access below. As you descend the ladder, you will find boulders which you need to climb down in order to reach the bottom of the tube.
It is dark so gear up with flashlights. Once at the bottom, you will find a dark cave enlightened by a ray of sunlight that is coming through the opening of the tube. The lava tube is cool and damp, a retreat from the heat of the desert above.
