Description
One of the largest national preserves within the United States.
Driving by this park will leave you mesmerized at the astonishing view of the mountains, canyons, and a carpet of wildflowers. It will give you serenity far from the busy urban areas.
You will find sand dunes, cinder cone volcanoes, and the Joshua tree forest in this 1.6-million acre park. Because this is very huge, weather will vary throughout the park depending on your elevation.
There is no entrance fee for Mojave National Preserve.
There are various camping sites in the area, both developed and undeveloped.
