Description
This 4.5-mile roundtrip trail starts at the parking area where you'll proceed up the rocky wash and into the canyon. The canyon narrows as you pass by Noonday Dolomite's smooth marble walls. Surface can be slippery so be cautious in hiking. As you go further, you will find Mosaic Canyon Breccia or tiny fragments of rocks locked in natural cement.
Some visitors stop hiking when they reach what looks like an impassable boulder jam. But adventurous hikers crawl between the boulders and access a hidden bypass route to a second set of narrows. You will find colorful breccia chutes and dry falls in here. The third set of narrows can be accessed through a footpath on the western wall.

Road wasn't that bad for an unsealed road. Want to do hiking, go before 10am due to the heat.

Road is really bad. And instead of spending an estimated amount of 28 million $ on rebuilding Scotties Castle I'd rather invest a bit of money on roads.

Road was also driveable with a 25ft RV, just drive slowly. Canyon is nice, walked there 1.2km. Trail is longer.
