Description
The Musée Mécanique, or Mechanical Museum in English, is a for-profit interactive museum featuring 20th-century penny arcade games and artifacts, and owns over 300 mechanical machines - making it one of the largest privately-owned collection of such games in the world.
The museum holds a collection of music boxes, coin-operated fortune tellers, Mutoscopes, video games, love testers, player pianos, peep shows, photo booths, dioramas, and pinball machines.
Visitors can also see many rare and historical pieces, such as a large diorama of a traveling carnival with a Ferris wheel and other rides that sit in the center of the museum. It also houses the only believed steam-powered motorcycle in the world that was built in Sacramento in 1912.

Large collection of old arcade games. Most cost a quarter to play.
