Description
Museum of Western Film History was founded in 2006 at Lone Pine, California. It aims to collect, preserve, and exhibit the collection of Western film from the early days of the silver screen. It features the role of the beautiful landscape of the west like Alabama Hills, Owens Valley, Sierra Nevada, and Death Valley in high-quality Hollywood productions filmed in these locations.
The museum is open from 10am to 5pm on Mondays and Thursdays to Saturdays, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. Pets are allowed inside the museum but must be on leash and under the owner's control.
