Description
The shipwreck is a SS Dominator which was trapped in shallow water in the 1960s. Since then, it has been sitting off California Coast. Today, visitors can see a huge pile of rusty metal of what was once a ship transporting wheat in Long Beach. You can reach this through the Drain Pipe Trail just off Paseo del Mar and Cloyden Road. It descends to the beach with lots of loose rocks and boulders, so be cautious of those.
