Description
Visitors can see elephant seals up close in this part of San Simeon beach. These elephant seals just lay on the sand of the beautiful stretch of coastline. The path to the vista point is flat and wheelchair accessible.
Elephant seals crowd the area at different times of the year, but mostly on February during their mating rituals, or April and May when the females molt. September to November is the season when the juveniles come out of the water and spend time on land, while January is the main month for birth.
This area can be accessed by the public for free.
