Description
Take a trip to the Roaring Camp Railroad, a three-feet narrow-gauge tourist railroad which runs up steep grades through redwood forests to the top of nearby Bear Mountain. Be amazed with the several steam engines from the 1890s, and some of the oldest and most authentically preserved narrow-gauge steam engines that arestill providing regular passenger service in the country.
Three engines at Roaring Camp Railroad as were designated as Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark #134 in 1988 by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
