Description

One of the most popular hikes in Joshua Tree National Park with its 3-mile roundtrip trail with 1,050 feet of elevation. it's a family friendly hike where you can bring your kids to appreciate the view. Because of its elevation, some of the best views of the park can be accessed here. Joshua trees, boulder piles, and mountain ranges are a delight to the hikers. You ca find various flowers, plants, and cacti along the trail like Yucca cacti and red barrel cacti. It will be better to start your hike early in the morning or later in the evening as it can get really hot during the day. Make sure to bring plenty of water to keep you hydrated, as well.

This is one of the most popular hikes in the park. A 3-mile roundtrip trail (moderately strenuous) to the 5458ft/1664m summit has lookout points with views of Queen, Lost Horse, and Pleasant valleys. 1.5-2.5 hours.
