Description
The San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park houses over 12,000 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies on 100 acres. It is maintained by its parent organization, San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, a private nonprofit conservation organization with more than 250,000 member households. The zoo was a pioneer in the concept of open-air exhibits that recreate natural animal habitats, and housed and successfully bred giant pandas for decades.

It is nice zoo, you can easily spend there4-5 hours (with no kids). There are few zookeepers talks. We had a great time, but I expected more. Don't take me wrong, this is Dan Diego zoo, one of the most famous zoo in the world, so thought it will be something special.
