Description
Get to Sentinel Dome via the wide trail of the same name, which leads mostly across open granite with little shade. Enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the park at the peak, and consider taking this hike at sunset or during a full moon for a cool breeze during the walk.
It is known for a Jeffrey Pine that grew from its peak, and died during the drought of 1976, but remained standing until August 2003.

Definitely a must do !!! Our advise is do it from the left through Taft Point. We did the whole loop is 4h including 1.30 break ! Easy with good shoes, steep some times but nothing that would kill you ! Just do it ;)
