Description

An interesting rock formation created by erosion a long time ago. As rain drops accumulated, it started to erode granite, and it happened over and over again resulting to two hollowed-out eye sockets which made the rock resemble a skull. It is a favorite stop for visitors where you can park just across the road, or maybe hike a 1.7-mile natural trail leading to this. Along the trail, you can admire different wildflower, cacti and shrubs like Mojave mound cactus, desert trumpet, bush penstemon, viscid lip fern and a lot more.
