Description

Named the world's second largest tree, General Grant or also known as Nation's Christmas Tree is located in a spot with bright sunlight and plenty of water contributing to its size. Visitors admire this humongous tree and somehow inspired thousands of people. It is also declared as a National Shrine in memory of the men and women of Armed Forces who died fighting to keep the country free. As a matter of fact, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is home to 7 out of the 10 largest trees in the world.
