Description

This half-mile long mural depicts the history of California through images of significant figures and historic events. It was completed between 1974 and 1984 by young people and artist supervisors. It is one of the largest murals in the world which is 13.5 feet high and 2, 754 feet wide. It can be found in a section of Tujunga Flood Control Channel. The mural features chronological segments of California's prehistoric times until 1960s.
