Description

One of the most exciting hikes in Anza-Borrego Desert, this trail is a little hard to find. It would be better to get information from the Visitor Center prior to hiking. You will pass by a dirt road where you need to look carefully not to miss the trailhead. When you reached it, there will be no signs directing you where to go next. Once you find it, you can make your way down and walk around a hundred yards to reach the entrance of the canyon. The canyon will soon grow taller around you and the path will become more and more narrow. At some parts, you will need to go sideways to let yourself in. Bulky bags might be a hindrance in the path. You will also pass by the Natural Bridge where you will be amazed by just how huge the canyon around you is. The slot canyon will now open up to a dirt road where you can either continue your hike or head back into the canyon.
