Vista Point is the northernmost point of the 17-mile long Sonoma Coast State Park, where there is no beach access but visitors can simply get a gorgeous view along the one-mile long hiking trail, called the Vista Trail Loop.

We didn't see a no camping sign. Stayed in a pop up. Off the main road and there was one other van that night.

No 'no camping sing', good views, away from the main road, probably the best free place to camp around.
