Description

Horse Creek Campground is sat along the shores of Lake Kaweah, providing campers a picturesque view of the lake itself, which is famous for boating, jet skiing, sailing, water skiing. The campground offers 80 campsites which can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tent campers. Due to its location, it will be hard for campers to find shade here, but being close to the water is a good compromise. All sites have picnic tables, and fire rings with grills, on top of having a dump station, showers, tap water, and restrooms with flush toilets onsite.

Not a bad campground. Free firewood if you walk around and collect it yourself. Lots of space. Good for one night.

Beautiful place BUT: not accessible for RVs from snowmelt till usually mid June as the main access road will be flooded. Dirt road access for jeep and truck possible.
