Camp at the spacious, family-friendly, and pet-friendly Placerville KOA Campground located at the foothills between the Sacramento Valley and the gorgeous Sierra Nevada Mountains of Lake Tahoe.
Its convenient location allows guests to visit the area wineries and plentiful apple orchards with handmade crafts, pies and pastries. Campers can relax in the refreshing seasonal pool and hot tub, take the free on-call shuttle to Red Hawk Casino for a delicious buffet, and join in movie nights, with free popcorn and other goodies, in support of KOA Care Camps.
The campground also features an arcade, a giant tent with free ping-pong and foosball access, and hand-dipped ice cream, as well as a large dog park for four-legged buddies!

Nice and clean. Very nice and helpfull staff. Office open until 8pm, after that there are night tickets for late arrivals ( self check-in). Clean, nice pool, good showers and toilets.
