Description
Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve is a 190acre park with seven beautiful recycled water lakes that are stocked with sport fish year-round.
There are a ton of recreational opportunities to do at the park including camping, cabin rentals, fishing, and boating. The area also offers playgrounds, walking trails, facility rentals, special events, and approximately 230 bird species.
The preserve's 300 hookup-site campground is close to San Diego's biggest attractions, and included community-covered shelters, WiFi access, an off-leash pet area called the Bark Park, clean restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, and a clubhouse.
