Description
This family-owned and operated campground has been home to campers since 1960. Up until now, they offer fresh mountain air with their location of 6,600 feet above sea level. It is only a mile from Wishon Reservoir providing water fun opportunities to the campers like boating and paddling.
It features 96 spacious full hookup sites measuring about 40 feet wide. Fire pits and picnic tables come with every site. Sites are also dish-satellite friendly so you wouldn't miss your favorite shows. There is no mobile signal in the park which is perfect for those who do want to disconnect and remain in solitude. For those who want to stay updated, WIFI is available though not strong enough for streaming.
26 tent sites are also available with 12x16 foot platform, fire pit, and picnic table. Water spigots are accessible here. Restroom with hot water, coin-operated showers, flush toilets, and outdoor sink are located in the tent campground.
They also have rental units stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dishes, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toasters, and stove tops. Rentals also have a restroom, couches, TV, DVD player, and a table.
Rate for RV sites is $49 to $59 a night. Tent sites cost $40 to $45, while rental units cost $150 to $175 a night. RV and tent sites require a 2-night minimum stay on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends. Saturday arrivals or departures are not allowed. Rental units require a 2-night minimum stay all the time.
