Description
Campers at Camp Hale Memorial campground will have access to fishing in several streams nearby. Colorado Trail can also be accessed right from the camp which provides walking and biking paths. It used to be a training camp for 15,000 men who fought in WWII.
There are 21 sites with tables and fire rings in the camp. Vault toilets are available. Camping fee is $22 a night. Sites can be reserved in advance.
