Description

Set in a ponderosa pine forest adjacent to Dowdy Lake, this campground offers fishing, hiking, and mountain biking opportunities to campers. It has a total of 70 sites, including 10 walk-to tent sites. Except for those 10, all sites have electricity and can accommodate RVs of many sizes. During fall, only 30 sites are open. Tent pads, bear lockers, picnic tables, and fire rings are provided in all sites. Vault toilets and drinking water are available. Sites can be reserved in advance from mid-Spring to September. Camping fee is $24 a night for standard site, and $32 for electric hookups.
