Description
Several trails to Eagle's Nest Wilderness can be accessed from Gore Creek campground. Vail Pass and Ten Mile Canyon trails are located at the west end of the camp. Plenty of trees surround and provide shade to the campground.
It has 16 back-in sites and 8 walk-to tent sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, and food lockers are available. Restrooms are handicap accessible, too. Gore Creek campground is located nearby the town of Vail which is popular for skiing and fly fishing.
Camping fee is $26 a night. Sites can be reserved in advance.
