Description
Sitting at an elevation of 9,500 feet, Lost Burro Campground offers a wonderful and authentic camping experience among ponderosa pines and aspen trees.
The campground features year-round heated showers with clean fresh water, several water stations throughout the area, and a dump station by the office - also stocked with firewood, camping supplies, snacks, and soda.
All campsites have access to picnic tables and fire rings for convenience, and campers can visit the stream running through the valley that gives the opportunity to pan for gold. There are several hiking trails that begin in the campground, and tons of open space for a leisurely long nature strolls for enjoyment.
